Tyrocol P-25

DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS:

  A water-borne adhesive based on PVA (polyvinyl acetate). Non-inflammable, non toxic. Used in the Furniture Industry as a fast glue, with medium open time and medium set time. Especially designed for demanding wood-work in chair construction with very elastic union.

Solids Content: 50 +/- 1%
Viscosity Brookfield RVF: 125-300 Poises, at 22 +/- 4°C
Minimum Temperature for film formation (MTFF): + 8 °C, aprox.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Glueing: One way only.
Sticking: Wet
Open Time: Maximum 7-8 minutes at room temperature 20°C, relative humidity 65%; on standard beech wood sample.
Time under a Pressure: (of 6 kg/cm2 at 20°C on standard beech test sample):
Minimum 10-12 minutes.

STORAGE STABILITY: Good for 6 months in a cool and dry place and between +15°C and 30°C.
