IMPRIMER PUR-3

DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS:

 Solvent based polyurethane primer. It´s being used generally as a two component primer, mixed with 5 % of DesmodurRFE or similar hardener of the isocyanate type.
Specially used in the shoe industry, as a primer for rubber, TR, PVC and polyurethane soles, suitable pre-treated, to allow long storage before cementing. Moreover it is also suitable as a primer for leathers and other porous materials, where it will improve wetting, and therefore the adhesion, with polyurethane adhesives PLASTIKOL.
 

TECHNICAL DATA:
Solid Content (%): 15 +/- 1.5%
Viscosity Brookfield LVF: 250 to 500 centiPoises (mPa.s) at 22 +/- 4°C
Dry Time: At 20°C /50%, 30 minutes aprox.(with 5% of Desmodur RFE)
Pot-life: At 20 °C, 3 hours aprox. with 5% of Desmodur RFE; and around 24 hours with 5% of Desmodur RC.
 

 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
  Mix just before use with 5% of hardener, and to apply over the material with the adequate preparation, letting it dry a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 24 hours, in normal conditions.

STORAGE:
  If containers are well sealed and stored in a cold-dry place (+5 °C +35 °C), good stability for a 6 months period. The product should be used at this temperature to obtain its best properties. Sensitive product to freezing, it should not be exposed to temperatures close to 0 °C.
