Insocol 2889

 Polychloroprene solvent based adhesive, not dirtying because of its light amber colour. It can be uses as 1 or two components depending on the application. As two-component, must be mixed with 3%-5% of our INSODUR RF or similar hardener.

 In shoe industry is used as two component for the bonding of leather, neolite, rubber, microporous EVA (roughened) soles. High viscosity adhesive for shoe industry, when looking for a long open time and high tack.

 Specifications:

Solid content (%): 26.5 +/- 1.5 %
Viscosity Brookfield LVF ( 20ºC): High; 2.300 to 3.500 cP (mPa•s) at 22 +/- 4ºC
Dry time: Fast, 15 to 30 minutes, in normal conditions (23ºC,50%), depending on the materials.
Open time: (without hardener) Contact bonding: Medium; till 30min. to 12-24 hours depending on the environmental conditions andthe type of materials. Good Tack.
Open time: (with 5% Desmodur) Contact bonding, till 30 min. to 2 hours, in normal conditions.
By heat activation bonding (60-80ºC), till 2 hours, when contact open time was passed.
Pot-life: + 5% Desmodur RFE - 60 minutes
                +5% Desmodur RC - 3-4 hours.
Colour: Light amber.

 Stability: Good stability during 6 months, if stored well sealed in a cool-dry place.
